Easy returns

For our returns you can simply use the Return module (RMA) within your customer dashboard when you login. You may alternatively call us on our call centre number. We expect you to provide supporting images and data as required by our representative and on an email. Please write to [email protected]

Free returns*

We don't charge you for return if the shipping was paid for but if you are returning part or full order of where the shipping was free for you then return would be charged and deducted from the total paid amount for the order initially. This is applicable for returns done if there was no damage to the product and for all COD orders.

For any damage from our end or in case of wrong product sent you will be eligible for exchange / full refund.

Free delivery (orders above 1000*)

You are eligible for free delivery of total cart value of above 1000 for a single order irrespective.

This does not apply to certain products. Please read product description clearly.

Exchange Policy

You can choose to return an order or product through your customer dashboard when you login to Upciclo.com and generate a return order and print label as well.

We can only exchange your products for a wrongly sent items ( not matching your order) , damaged product. We cannot exchange a product if you bought it w/o reading specification of the product in product description. Exchange is conditional on sale items.

How to Exchange

Note: In order to process a return or exchanged the product cannot be used, it cannot be a customized product and must be retained in its original packaging with stickers or tags as applicable. It must also be in its original condition as received. Please also read the exceptions section for all the types of products that are not eligible for return.

  • 1. Please send us an email at [email protected] with your reason for return, and a proof of purchase. An accompanying photograph / video of the item in question is a must.
  • 2. We will email you back a return slip with all the details needed for your product return.
  • 3. Please pack the item in its original packing and affix the return slip/label to the top of the package. It has bar code so return slip has to be printed.
  • 4. We'll then arrange to pick up the item you wish to return. The item must be handed the item in its original packaging with no wear and tear to the courier personnel.
  • 5. Once we receive the item, our team will evaluate the product received and process a refund to your mode of payment. If it is a returnable item category , and falls under the returnable reasons , we will ask you no more questions and you will be refunded or sent an exchange based on the choice made.

RETURN POLICY

Our return policy covers manufacturing defects that render the product unusable at the time of delivery. It also covers a return based on lack of satisfaction with the product as a whole.

Please note: Several of our products are hand-crafted, and minor to significant variations in size, colour or finish might occur. These are not covered under the return policy. Eg; coconut shell or upcycled denim products. Please read the product description clearly before ordering.

To be eligible for a return under the above conditions, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.

In case you receive a damaged or unusable product, we request you to please take a photograph of it as soon as possible and email it to [email protected] to apply for an immediate refund.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE RETURNS POLICY

Some types of goods are exempt from being returned.

  • 1. Perishable/degradable items cannot be returned.
  • 2. We do not accept products that are intimate, such as shampoo bars or soap if opened , sanitary goods, toothbrushes, tongue cleaners etc.
  • 3. Additional non-returnable items: Gift cards and downloadable SKU’s
  • 4. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable) such as products with obvious signs of use.
  • 5. The return window of all our lifestyle products is maximum of 10 days post-delivery. Please do not put is in difficult situation asking for refund beyond this.
  • 6. We would not be able to process a return request for any item that is returned beyond 10 days after delivery.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A RETURN:

  • 1. Please send us an email at [email protected] with your reason for return, and a proof of purchase. An accompanying photograph / video of the item in question is a must.
  • 2. We will email you back a return slip with all the details needed for your product return.
  • 3. Please pack the item in its original packing and affix the return slip/label to the top of the package. It has bar code so return slip has to be printed.
  • 4. We will arrange a courier pick up of the returnable parcel (to the same address that the parcel was delivered) . Please note , pick up address cannot be changed from the initial delivery address.
  • 5. Please ensure that the parcel is properly packed and the label affixed firmly to the top, otherwise there is a chance that the pick-up might be rejected by the courier company. Also there is chance of damage to the product hence it is important you use original packaging. This will get verified by our warehouse team.
  • 6. Once the parcel reaches us, is inspected and deemed fit for a refund, we will issue you a refund minus the cost of courier charges (as this amount goes directly to the courier)
  • 7. Please note, Upciclo India reserves the right to process your refund based on the condition of the items received.

REFUNDS: You will be notified by our payment gateway. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE): If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at [email protected]

SALE ITEMS (IF APPLICABLE) Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. They can only be exchanged for same item only if available in stock.

GIFTS If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and s/he will find out about your return.
